SHOP LAYOUT- 3 car garage...........one bay for me!! Before I retired and we moved to our new home............I planned the layout for my shop area. |

ADDED 9 X 20 LATHE- The Lathe was purchased from Harbor Freight.........w/o the stand Listed are some of my major additions and improvements: 1.) Dial Indicators- Very useful for accuracy/repeating positions. 2.) Quick-Change Tool Post- Much stronger setup, all bits centered, and fast change-overs! 3.) Cross Feed Upgrade- Ball bearing system w/ larger dia. feed screw, very smooth and accurate! 4.) Keyless Chuck- Much better/stronger than supplied chuck. 5.) Chip Guard- Custom made from hard oak frame w/ Lexan shield 6.) 3 Jaw Chuck Upgrade- Replaced original 4" diameter chuck with a 5" diameter Bison chuck. |
